Welcome to the Baptist Health Foundation of San Antonio website.

We are pleased to provide information about the Foundation as we share our story of how BHFSA is bringing glory and honor to God by funding healthcare ministries in our region.

During our grant awards ceremony on Thursday, November 19, 2009, we announced grants totaling $4,842,937 to 77 organizations in our region. We were especially grateful that we could increase our 2009 grants by 7.8% over the previous year. Since 2005, we have awarded 314 grants totaling $20,674,318.

Our Trustees are heartened by the achievements for our grant recipients. We value our work with the grantees and all those who help improve the healthcare in our community.

This year I am delighted that our Trustees approved granting more than $5.1 million, a 5.5% increase over 2009.
