Our Staff
W. Frank Elston was named the first President and CEO of Baptist Health Foundation of San Antonio on August 15, 2005. Elston returned to San Antonio in April, 2005, after retiring from Barnes-Jewish Hospital Foundation in St. Louis where he was head of their Foundation from 1997 to 2005. A fund-raising professional for 35 years, Elston also served as Vice President of University Relations at the University of Texas Health Science Center, San Antonio from 1989 to 1997.
Eusebio Diaz is the Program Director of Baptist Health Foundation of San Antonio. Prior to joining the staff, he served four years as Grants Manager at Kronkosky Charitable Foundation in San Antonio. Eusebio's experience also includes serving as Program Coordinator of the Middle Rio Grande Development Council in Uvalde; Director of Outreach at the American Cancer Society in San Antonio; and Health Program Supervisor at the San Antonio Metro Health District.
Liz Cantu, CPS, serves as Administrative Assistant at Baptist Health Foundation of San Antonio. Prior to assuming her duties on January 1, 2006, she was Database Coordinator/Staff Accountant at Baptist Health Services Foundation, San Antonio. She joined Baptist Health System in 1982 and held several secretarial positions during her tenure there.
Liz Etemadi joined the Baptist Health Foundation of San Antonio staff on January 1, 2007, as the Foundation Accountant. Liz had served as the Accountant for Baptist Health Services since 2003 and held accounting and other administrative positions at Baptist Health System from 1998 to 2003. She holds a B.B.A. degree in accounting from the University of Texas at San Antonio and is a member of the Institute of Management Accountants. |
