Make A GiftAre you interested in financially supporting the ongoing work of the Baptist Health Foundation whose mission is to improve the health of our community by fostering and funding clinical, educational, spiritual and scientific initiatives while honoring God and our Baptist heritage? Would you like to partner with the Foundation and assist the following areas of need in our community? Have you experienced superb care in one of the area hospitals and want to honor those doctors, nurses, and staff who made you or your loved one's stay meaningful? Are you interested in honoring or remembering a family member or friend? You can make a tax deductible gift to the Foundation in a number of ways and help perpetuate the critical support the Foundation provides to the community every year. Current GivingYour support will undergird the ongoing programs of the Foundation which include: Scholarships at Area Universities and CollegesNursing, Dental, Medical, Social Work, Physical Therapy, Counseling, Public Health, and Healthcare Administration Responsive GrantsSupports grants to area nonprofits who seek support for their health related initiatives Strategic InitiativesSupports grants to area nonprofits in the following areas: Adolescent Mental Health, Social Isolation of the Elderly, Diabetes Prevention, Community Clinics for the Uninsured Disaster ReliefSupports grants to nonprofits to help in the recovery of a disaster and relieve suffering resulting from a disaster Mini GrantsSupports grants of $7,500 or less to area nonprofits that will have a significant impact in meeting the community's health needs, particularly in communities demonstrating a great need Named Endowed FundsYou can establish a named endowed fund with a gift of $50,000 or more to honor the legacy of you or a loved one while supporting the programs of the Foundation. Only the earnings from your fund will be used. The permanent named fund you establish is open-ended and can be added to at any time in the future. Deferred GivingYou can name as a beneficiary of your estate the Baptist Health Foundation of San Antonio through any of the following instruments: Wills and Bequests The Foundation accepts gifts of cash, publicly traded securities, and real estate.
